Before I joined speed dating events, I had somewhat negative thoughts about it. We used to think that speed dating is (sorry guys, I hate to say this.) for losers, for those who couldn’t get a girlfriend and for those who couldn’t get laid. My perception of speed dating dramatically changed when I tried it myself.

It’s because I wanted to experience first hand what speed dating is like so that I could feature my experience here in Pinoy Guy Guide. However, since the slots were limited, I wasn’t able to attend the said event. Most people think that speed dating is only for people desperately looking for love. However, based from what we saw and experienced, this is not always the case! On our first event, I engaged in the program as one of the participants to interact with the guys and get their feedback on the event. We purposely blurred the faces to protect the privacy of our participants. We are happy to note that on our first event, we had a successful couple — Rodwin and Mdee– now celebrating their 6th monthsary come July. Meanwhile, our 2nd speed dating event established good friendship among participants– updating us of their dinners and out-of-town trips.
