Rowupdating event args

Hi there, I am setting a date parameter representing the days date if a row in my gridview databounded checkbox is checked at the time of updating, but I only want to do this if the checkbox was previously unchecked. This is the Gridview I am using and the SQLData Source.

Item( It is only the Old Values object that contains 'nothing', the New Values passed the values correctly.

I like to grab control values in Grid View_Data Bound(), which occures just after the controls are bound. Are you trying to get the value of a Label in a template field of a gridview? I know how to find a control under a template field from a grid view, and get its value. To String(); } Since the value uses Bind it will now be read/write.

NETn Grid View Rg[̍폜h E{^zuɂ́Hi CYɂ́Hi J\j ֘ATIPSFm ASP.

I've a sample below, the Grid View Template is bound to Category Name.

Note: Instead of using Text Box in normal mode use Labels.

The easiest way is to create your Grid View with some data source in ASP and call that data source in Row_Deletinng Event. Data Bind(); Ah, sorry, I was looking at Abdul Rahman code and there it was an SQL Data Source.

call a method in the beginning before using this adapter (say in main form after you create instance of it).

Whilst one can subscribe to the tableadapters underlying adapter in the tableadapter partial class I find you cannot easily initialise it without having to remember to call an initialisation of your own.

Alternatively, does your partial class have a constructor which is being called? EDIT: Okay, so presumably this is being used in a particular page or form - can you add it after the I am using the designer to create a typed dataset with a data table and table adapter. The Data Table partial class does allow you to override End Init however I can't see how to access the related Table Adapter from the Data Table.// Assumes that connection is a valid Sql Connection object. Row Updating -= new Sql Row Updating Event Handler(On Row Updating); cust Adapter.

There is no events part of the properties page that I can see. Sql Data Adapter cust Adapter = new Sql Data Adapter( "SELECT Customer ID, Company Name FROM Customers", connection); // Add handlers. Row Updating = new Sql Row Updating Event Handler(On Row Updating); cust Adapter.

SQLCommand command Type=2 records Affected=1 row=System.
