I picked up 5 jugs of Rotella 15w40 and one was old stock, not CI rated. The other 4 were fine, so I dumped the CH one into the VW diesel. The 'ol Cummins got the "new and improved". Hope its not a recirc into the intake like my TDI is, it makes for a mess, ESPECIALLY when combined with the soot of an EGR system.

Apologies first, I am new to the forums, but thought this would be a good place to post this. They only had it labeled as "Seiko Automatic Stainless steel case men's watch" I found someone to dig it out and saw that it was a SRP715. It's a nice size for me with extra room on the band, my wrist is 8.25". Omega vintage dress watch 3 Citizen Signature automatics, 4 Eco Drives, 2 Tag Heuers, 2 Accutrons, 2 Orients, 5 Seikos, 2 Invictas, 1 Pulsar 2 Tissots 1 Skagen and 1 Victorinox Swiss Army, Longines Legend Diver, Steinhart Smurf. Oris 65 Oris Arctix, Borealis Estoril, Wenger Arctic Light, Breitling Colt Chrono So, I really like the deployment clasp.

I have used it for many years and can not think of a better oil for your Cummins.

A lot of people on the forum say they use Shell Rotella. If you want to use Shell, find some " Rimula" (spell). Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 is a petroleum based motor oil. As posted above, Delvac 1300 is a petroleum/dino oil. When you spend as much as you do on a nice vehicle though, why not give it the best? The best is Mobil's Delvac 1, which only comes in 5w-40. There are some lower quality ci-4 oils out there that are cheaper but still meet requirements, like rotella t synthetic, valvoline premium blue, etc. The CI-4 spec was developed over the CH-4 specifically for engines with EGR systems and CCV recirculating systems, to keep intakes a bit cleaner , neutralize acids, etc.

my buddy has a 2007 and got rid of his dpf and his truck is so fast! im thinking of adding the banks intake, economind tuner and iq.

before i call to price it out, can the tuner get rid of the error code that itll throw when i cut out the dpf?

It is exactly what I needed for work (hacking movement, minutes marked) 4R36 movement. (I tried a cheapie and it wouldn't keep a wind overnight so I returned it). I am getting my first nato for another watch (a junker "safe driving award" watch from work.

My other is the Solvil "Solar", that one may get handed down soon.
