taxes credit card dating - Feeling rejected online dating

Welcome back to The Attraction Doctor I've received multiple requests to discuss a difficult dating topic - "dealing with rejection". The misconceptions, bad behavior, and hard feelings surrounding rejection can sometimes create deep wounds.

I've seen too many good men and women suffer needlessly because of it.

But reality finds a way of stomping on those dreams with big ol’ boots.

See, I was great at doing the kattas and perfecting my form and even things like breaking boards and blocks… I was constantly playing defense, always backing away, passing up on openings to strike… Not surprisingly, I approached my dating life the same way: I didn’t want to get rejected, so I was continually playing it safe.

If you participate in online dating, you probably know that you can be dumped in a variety of different and quite creative ways.

You can be dumped by a private e-mail, via text, through technologically public means such as Facebook, by way of the old fashioned telephone, via the ancient and dreaded face-to-face method, or as Dr.

As a result, "rejection" is an important topic for successful and respectful dating and relating.

It also has two sides: I will address "managing" in this article and speak to "declining" in Part 2.

Thus far, I've said: I have done so because saying "getting rejected", or "he/she got rejected", or even "coping with rejection" sends the wrong message.

In fact, that language is part of the reason why people experience such negative emotion with this topic.

For now, I hope to reverse some of the misconceptions surrounding "rejection", and help individuals avoid the negative emotional experiences that often accompany it.
