Some of these people will want to do thorough research about you first, and a good landing page still gives them that information.

It would be slow, frustrating, and hard to retain information this way.

Not only that, if someone walked up to you with it and asked you to read it, it’d probably be intimidating.

Since launching the Unbounce Marketing Blog, this post has become one of our top-performing posts of all time. The landing page design principles I’ll be using when delivering the critiques are from The 7 Principles of Conversion-Centered Design framework.

Note: This template is available for use within the Unbounce landing page platform suite of landing page templates. Mobile Commons again does a nice job here, making sure the conversion area stands out from the rest of the page and making it clear where you need to go to complete your interaction with the page.

Button color: The CTA should be changed to stand out more from the rest of the page. It is a nice contrast to the form background, but overall the page has conflicting colors.Imagine if a blog post was printed on a page the size of a giant movie poster.You would have a heck of a time trying to read the whole thing, having to constantly look back and forth, trying to find the next line.Even with a clean and conversion oriented design, many pages still commit the cardinal sin of providing outbound links that aren’t part of the conversion funnel. Social proof in the context of landing pages refers to the idea that your visitors will be influenced positively (although there can be negative effects) by showing evidence of others participating in the use of your product or service.This can be presented via counters showing your social followers (Twitter, Facebook etc.), and testimonials that describe the emotional reaction to your offering from real world customers. You will receive some calls and leads by doing this but you are likely LOSING a lot of leads as well. In a nutshell, you need to make it as easy as possible for Google Ad Words visitors to get the information they need You may be thinking that your website is different.
